Bombers Pull Off Upset

CFHS Football Team Earns Upset Victory Over Tri-City United.

The varsity Bomber Football team is finally starting to play at it’s full potential, and they couldn’t have started at a better time. The 7-seeded Bombers ended the season with a dismal 2-6 overall record (1-6 in conference play). A heavy underdog heading into sections, the Bombers faced off against Tri-City United, the 2-seed, this past Tuesday at Montgomery. TCU was favored over Cannon Falls, but that didn’t intimidate the away team, as the Bombers rallied from ten points down at halftime to hold on to a 29-26 victory, securing a spot at subsections on Saturday, 7 p.m. against PEM in Elgin.
