This upcoming week is going to be filled with studying, mental breakdowns, and lots of crying. It’s finals week, one of the most hated weeks in the school year. Finals will occur on January 19th and 20th. While some teachers choose to partake in unit exams, some educators choose questions based on the semester’s learning. Super fun, right? Some tips for improving scores are to get lots of sleep, remember to eat breakfast, and study with some small breaks in between. This gives the brain some time to rest and soak up the information. Going on the Internet or Snapchat is NOT taking a break, rather it is filling the brain with useless information. Instead coloring, hanging out with family and friends, or going on a walks will be more beneficial. The test scores will appreciate it.
