CF defense proves strong up the middle

The snow has melted and the grass has begun to grow, which means that baseball season is finally upon us. After a long, cold offseason, the Bomber baseball team got back to work in March, attempting to improve upon the 16 win and 8 loss record achieved last season. The team will be faced with some significant adversity as they attempt to fill the void left by the eight seniors that graduated last year. The key players they lost were: Jonathan Sharot, Quinton Lindow, Braden Hartl, Carter Dombeck, Garrett Beach, Nick Lorentz, Jacob Reinhardt, and Nathan Melhouse, requiring their underclassmen to step up.

Led by the two senior captains Tanner Carlson and Hunter Reinardy, and returning letter winners: Carter Reber, Jake Christenson, Liam Franken, Jason Traynor, Michael Monson, Carlton Lindow, and Max Bowen, the Bombers are coached by Bucky Lindow entering his 18th season as the manager of the Cannon Falls Bomber baseball team. The Bombers have both hosted and participated in three scrimmages; first against New Prague, then an indoor scrimmage against Hastings, and lastly against Rochester Century. The Bombers will host the Byron Bears in a doubleheader this Saturday, April 23. Come out and show your support for the Bombers this upcoming season.
