On March 14, after school the CFHS auditorium was flooded with talented actors and actresses auditioning for the schools upcoming play M*A*S*H. Tania Legvold, the director, explained that the play was about a group of nurses, surgeons, and doctors working in the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, or M*A*S*H for short. Then, the read-through began!

“ Everybody who comes out for the show is welcome to participate,” Legvold explained, “I wanted to give the kids a feel for a little bit of what the show was like.” Which is why she decided on doing a read-through instead. “ It turned into more of an audition as you can tell because people have either improved or they’ve grown taller and so I needed to see them doing different rolls!” Legvold exclaimed

After asking how Legvold was enjoying working with the students her response was overwhelming, “Oh great! They are fun and they’re willing and they’re able and they are just very cooperative trying new things!” There has now been about a week of practices and they are going well, so come down to the Cannon Falls Auditorium and see M*A*S*H on May 8, 9 or 10 at 7:00 pm.
