Silly Sweaters, clusters of candy canes, lumbering lumberjacks, stripey socks … During the week of December 16th-20th, the Student Council’s Holiday Week was celebrated throughout CFHS in great participation. This year’s dress-up days featured: Monday- Holiday Morning, Tuesday- Lumberjack Day, Wednesday- Ugly Sweater Day, Thursday- Candy Cane Day (Red & White), and Friday- Holiday Character Day. At lunch concessions, Christmas cookies, apple cider, hot chocolate, Candy Grams, and Reindeer/Penguin Hugs were sold. Overall, the week was a successful kickoff to Winter Break. January 13th-17th will be celebrated this year as Winter Week and will again feature a week of dress-up days and concessions. That week is not only the wrap up of the quarter, but it also leads up to the annual Winter Formal on January 18th. Tickets will be sold that week for $10 at concessions. This year’s theme is Northern Lights.
