The world for a speechie has a tendency to be tense, fearful, and nerve-racking during the speech season. When that final moment hits and the crowd goes silent the world is in the hands of the speaker and the thoughts are controlled by the power of their emotion. This Saturday is the scariest moment for speeches, and CFHS has 14 entries in the state tournament. The State title is up for the taking and the ears are opened and listening. Following Friday’s AA competition, the class A contest featuring the Bomber speakers will be held at Blaine High School beginning at 10:15 A.M.
