On Monday, December 15, the high school and middle school choirs performed their second concert of the year. The performance roughly took the same format as the fall concert – the 6th and 7th & 8th grade ensembles opened with two songs each, the high school chamber choir followed with their own song, and the high school concert choir sang three songs. For this concert, director Anna Broring added a song performed by the combined middle and high school choruses, “Peace, Peace.”

The show was unmistakably winter-themed. Wreaths adorned the acoustic shells behind the singers and a Christmas tree accompanied them on stage. Each performed song centered on Christmas, with pieces ranging from satirical to religious.
The freezing temperatures on the night of the concert failed to deter spectators from attending the concert, with the auditorium struggling to accommodate both performers and viewers. The choirs did not disappoint the people in the packed theater, with their practice being evident in their singing.
