The blood drive that is traditionally set up by Interact and MAHS students will be done virtually this year due to the current state of the pandemic.
Every year CFHS Interact and MAHS hold the biannual American Red Cross Blood Drive at the high school. Unfortunately, this year the blood drive is unable to be held at the school. In its place, there will be a virtual blood drive. While this situation isn’t as convenient as in past years, donated blood is a need in our country more now than ever.
The blood drive is also a great opportunity for seniors to get scholarships. The school earns scholarship money from the American Red Cross for selected graduating students at the end of the year. The amount of the scholarship depends on how many units the blood drive collects/sponsors. Members of CFHS Interact and MAHS urge people to still donate blood with the unique year. Community members are encouraged to use the link below to sign up for an appointment to donate blood at other locations registering with CFHS.
