After the divisional round, only two teams from each division are left – the Baltimore Ravens, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Detroit Lions, and the San Francisco 49ers. They all play this Sunday for a chance to participate in the the biggest game of the season and the most viewed game in sports – the Super Bowl.
The last time the Lions played in the championship was in 1992, 32 years ago. The lions have the number three ranked offense and the number nineteen defense. The 49ers made the championship game last year where they lost to the Eagles. San Francisco has the number two ranked defense and the number two ranked offense.
The Chiefs are defending Super Bowl champs. After a dominant win over buffalo 27-24, they are playing what looks like the unstoppable Ravens with Lamar Jackson running the offense in an MVP type of season and after coming off of a win over Houston 34-10. The last time the Ravens were in the championship game was 2012 when they won the Super Bowl that year. The Ravens have the number six ranked offense and the number one ranked defense. Kansas City has the number two ranked defense and the number ten ranked offense.
