The Farmers’ Share Breakfast is a tradition that the Cannon Falls FFA chapter puts on every year. The breakfast takes place at the end of FFA week to help spread agricultural awareness. FFA week takes place the week of George Washington’s birthday to recognize how the agricultural organization and members of the FFA have progressed in agriculture. The breakfast is a great opportunity to see how much the farmers are earning from their products. People who attend the breakfast will only pay for their meal what the farmers earn from the product. The Cannons Falls FFA chapter hopes to see many of the community members there. Members of the chapter will make and serve all the food. Members of the chapter also work to organize and put on the breakfast. The River County Coop is also a big help in the breakfast by graciously donating to the chapter in support of the breakfast. This year, the breakfast will be taking place on Saturday, February 24th at St Ansgar’s church from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
