On Saturday, December 2nd, Cannon Falls senior Dylan Banks played in the 50th annual All-Star football game. The All-Star game showcased players from the 2023 high school season. Banks received the honor of selection and played for the South as an outside linebacker. The game took place at US Bank Stadium. Kickoff was at 1 p.m.

To prepare for the game, the North and South teams practiced in different facilities beginning Wednesday and stayed in a hotel the rest of the week. Their days consisted of two practices, meal times, and meetings with other players and coaches. When their day was done, Banks and his teammates did team bonding and utilized the hotel pool. A banquet was held on Friday night to honor and celebrate the outstanding players. Family members were invited.

At the end of the first half, the North led 15-14. The South was unable to score again in the second half of the game and lost 48-14.
