Hunter Johnson Directs the surging Bomber offense as it drives downfield

The Cannon Falls Bombers Football team has become the darling in this year’s journey to state. Earlier in the week, the seventh-seeded Bombers pulled off a comeback win against second-seeded Tri-City United. But the Bombers were not content with just one playoff win and they illustrated their hunger for more in Saturday’s Section 1AAA semifinal game against Plainview-Elgin-Millville. Dominating from the start, Cannon Falls won 33-16 and will become the lowest-seeded team ever to play for a section title. The Bombers will play Rochester Lourdes at Kasson-Mantorville this Saturday at 7 pm. This will be the second year in a row that Cannon Falls will play in the section final.
