World’s Finest Chocolate is a fundraiser for students in the arts.

“Chocolate?… Chocolate?!?… CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!”

This scene from Spongebob mixes in nicely with the recipe for sales that hit Cannon Falls. World’s Finest Chocolate has arrived in our little town and the music students are handing them out faster than you can taste the chocolate. Every year the group sells chocolate to help with the Cannon Falls Music department by fixing instruments and buying new ones and World’s Finest Chocolate with sales. It also helps the students save up for a yearly trip with their group. On March 10-12 the kids partook on one of the trips that has been promised to them many years, by bringing them to Chicago, Illinois where the itinerary took the groups on a wide excursion of Blue Man Group, Willis Tower, Medieval Dinner, and a Music Clinic along with many more fun voyages with friends. “Chicago for me was interesting,” says Senior band member Margaret Sucher. “I really like the cultural experience with St. Patty’s Day and it was fun to get to know more about the band members. The chocolate sales help to cut the cost of the trip for the kids, having to dig less into their own pockets for money. All in all the chocolate sales are a great idea that really help give kids more a chance of going.”

Chocolates are in so make sure to pick them up from the students who sold to you, and if you didn’t take the opportunity to buy, Mrs. Franke is still selling chocolate bars and boxes from the choir room. So make sure to get down there and pick up a box today and don’t miss out on the chance for some chocolate.
