On Wednesday, October 4th, the National Association for College Admission Council is hosting a national college fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Nearly 300 public and private institutions from across the United States will have information booths set up.

Cannon Falls juniors and seniors are highly encouraged to attend. Students with a completed parent permission form will have an excused absence for the event. Those wishing to attend can arrange their own transportation to the convention center or ride a bus provided by the school for a fee of $5. The bus will leave the school at 8 a.m. and may stop for food before returning to the school around 2 p.m.

The fair is a marvelous opportunity for juniors and seniors to explore new colleges or connect with advisors from schools they are already considering. Students wishing to attend should register at the NACAC website by Monday, October 2nd. Additional information about the convention — including a list of all participating institutions — is available on the NACAC website.
