Dancing the night away
The CF Middle School dance was a big hit
The atrium was filled with colorful lights and loud music on February 10th. Kids aged from 11-14 were having a wonderful time, dancing the night away with all their friends.
Middle school dances are either a lot of fun or extremely awkward in some cases, but luckily, last Saturday was filled with laughs and memorable moments. When asked if the dance was fun, Jessica Warren, an eighth grader, said, “I think people had a lot of fun, but the music wasn’t the greatest, they only played three slow songs, which is pretty much the main point of the dance. They should’ve at least played 4 or 5. Other than that, I would say it was pretty good.”
“My favorite part about the dance was probably getting ready for it. Hanging out with my closest friends before a big night is always fun, says Mia Jesh. “I’m excited for the Spring Fling, especially since it will be my last dance in the middle school.” These reactions seem to be pretty common among the eighth grade class this year.
After these interviews, the inference can be made that the dance was enjoyed and that the Spring Fling should have the same outcome.
