Interact,  a volunteer club at the Cannon Falls High School, is sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday, November 21st. The blood drive will be held in the IMC.

To be eligible to donate, students must be 16 years old with parental consent or 17 years and older without parental consent and meet certain height and weight requirements. To sign up for the blood drive, students should talk to Mrs. Hernke or sign up during lunch. There are also many posters in the hallway with information about how to sign up.

The Red Cross also holds other blood drives throughout the year. Blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. By donating blood it helps people, so if students are able to sign up it is highly encouraged.

Howdy doodly! My name is Bowen Maki and I'm a muse with a camera. I'm a senior and I take pictures and videos for the Lantern. When I'm not behind the camera I like to be in front of it with theater, speech, and weightlifting. I have a deep love of psychology, skating, and stuffing my head with useless knowledge.
