Hall, Banks commit to UMC
Gabe Hall and Kyler Banks commit to University of Minnesota Crookston
Two members of the Cannon Falls School system have decided their futures recently. Seniors Kyler Banks and Gabe Hall are bringing their football prowess to the University of Minnesota, Crookston. They both feel “excited” to have finally made their college decision and it takes a great weight off their shoulders. Banks was the first to admit to Crookston and Hall followed suit knowing he would have a teammate and friend already made next year. The football scholarship they have received covers a healthy portion of the tuition which Hall believes is better than “paying loans until my forties.”
Banks and Hall believe their next academic year will run smoothly with Banks hearing from current students that it’s “pretty easy.” Banks wishes to major in elementary education and preferably become a Phy Ed teacher. Hall also wishes to major in education of some kind. As for the football season, different opinions emerge. Hall believes the year is up in the air and no one will know the possibilities for success until training camp. Banks thinks that the year will go better than last year considering the team won one game. Despite that, both have optimistic views of the future in both football and otherwise and two more from Cannon Falls are about to rise to the next stage of life.
