Two seniors pose for their final Ugly Sweater dress up day.

HoSporting a mediocre Santa costume, hands, neck and face drenched in green face paint and wearing the biggest smile, James Watson dressed as the Grinch his sophomore year during the school’s dress up week. Each year, the Cannon Falls school looks forward to not only seeing Watson all decked out, but the rest of the students. Next week, from December 18th through the 22nd, is winter dress-up week.  On Monday, the students merely need to roll out of bed because it’s pajama day. Tuesday is ugly sweater day, followed by blizzard (or white out), wrapped up (in wrapping paper, bows, tissue paper, or wearing all your snow gear), and on Friday it will be holiday spirit (anything Christmas related). Watson gave some tips on how to make an outfit as awesome as his. He said, “Use hats, gloves, shirts, pants, shoes, and every little aspect of your clothing to really exaggerate the point you are trying to get across for the dress up day. I do have great ideas but you’ll just have to wait until next week to see it.”
