It’s the most wonderful time of year

There are many winter week festivities, including dress-up days and the Giving Tree.

The student council has planned exiting new dress up days for the winter week.

As 2023 ticks to a close, students at Cannon Falls High School are excited to start winter break. To get in the holiday spirit, the High School Student Council will be organizing its annual winter week from December 18th to 22nd.

This year’s winter week features a fun dress-up theme each day of the week: Monday will be Pajama Day, Tuesday is Flannels vs. Vests,  Wednesday is Ugly Sweater day, Thursday is Winter Sports day, and Friday’s theme is White-Out.

Additionally, the Student council will be selling “Candy Cane Grams” Monday through Thursday in the concession stand during all lunches. For $1, students can buy a candy cane, attach a note with a message, and have it delivered to any CFHS student during first hour on Friday the 22.

Throughout the whole week, students will be able to donate to the council’s Christmas drive, the Giving Tree, located in the atrium.

The student council is excited to celebrate the upcoming holidays and they hope the student body will join in on all the festivities.
