Making music
To wrap up the school year, there will be various band and choir concerts held in the gym.
The CF choir and band are finally allowed to have spectators at their concerts.
There are many concerts coming up from the Cannon Falls Middle and High School music departments. On Thursday, May 20, the 6-8th grade band will be having a concert. Sixth grade will have it at 7 p.m., seventh grade will have it at 7:30 p.m., and eighth grade will have their concert at 8 p.m. These concerts will be held in the Cannon Falls High School Gymnasium. The HS band will be having their concert on Friday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. Their performance will also be in the gymnasium, and they will be playing some pep songs at the concert.
The HS Choir will be performing on May 26th. They will be in the gym six feet apart, singing with masks. During the concert, the seniors will be featured. The 6-8th grade choir will perform the same way as the HS Choir, however, they will be performing on May 27. The Jazz choir will also be singing on May 27. Both concerts will begin at 7 p.m. They have been rehearsing either on their own, on zoom, or in person because of distance and hybrid learning models.
These are the last concerts of the year so come and enjoy the great music and fun.
