Friday December 14th will be a not so silent night at Cannon Falls High School. All bands from fifth grade to twelfth will be performing for the annual winter band concert. Starting with fifth grade band at seven, the program will take approximately less than two hours to complete. The middle school jazz band, high school jazz band, middle school steel drums, high school steel drums, and high school flute choir will be performing at the concert as well.

Ben Sibenaler, a twelfth grade trombonist, stated that he is excited for this years concert. “The songs this year are great. I’m stoked to be playing more well know songs such as Charlie Brown and Fantasia 2000, rather than the typical carols.” He also stated that he is impressed with how far the freshmen players have come this year. “I was a little worried at the beginning of the year, but every year, Mr.Legvold finds a way to make the band sound spectacular.”
