The ACT test was moved to April 24, due to a snow day on the original test date.
After spending several weeks of flipping through ACT prep books and taking practice tests, Cannon Falls juniors ACT exam was rescheduled for a few weeks later than planned. This was due to an unexpected snow day on the original date, April 3rd. The new test date is Tuesday, April 24th during the school day. All juniors will be able to leave school after the test is over. There are varying opinions on a later test date. Some students are relieved to have more weeks of studying (or worrying). Others are annoyed that they need to spend three more weeks preparing for this important exam. Molly Bowen said, “Personally, I’m happy because I did some practice but I still felt I wasn’t prepared enough. This extra time will allow me to be more comfortable taking the test.” On the other hand Anja Black said, “I was ready for the test on the third. It would have been nice to be done instead of three more weeks of preparing.” Despite three more weeks of waiting, all juniors will come prepared for the test.
