Oh, The Places You Can Go
Without little Jimmy begging his mom for the new Dr. Seuss book or teens cramming for exams a library would be non-existent. Cyndi Zierdon, worker for Children Services, explains, “The largest group of people (that attends the Cannon Falls Library) is the elementary group and we would like to find more things to attract the teens.” Cannon Fall’s library has become an enormous opportunity for the town’s youth to vigorously study or to just chill in the new booths by the young adult section. The new Cannon Fall’s Library has introduced additions including booths, tables, and other study areas. In this sense judging a book by its cover is what people should do when passing the new library.
But most importantly the library has brought the community together, fabricating into a complex plot. Zierdon enthuses, “Most of the money for the library came from donations”. The donors of the Cannon Falls community are currently displayed on the vibrant green tree to the right of the library entrance. On each leaf there is the name of each organization or individual who has given to the Cannon Falls library Zierdon explains. The Cannon Falls library has improved overall and hopes to see the faces of young people light up as they flip picture book pages. The new library is a start of a new chapter in Cannon Falls. The community’s job is to continue the growth of the library with a happily ever after.
