Out of this world experience
Cannon Falls students will have a chance to get inside information on what it is like working for NASA on Friday.
On Friday, April 24, at 11:00 a.m. the Cannon Falls robotics team will be having an online video conference with Mark Vande Hei, a NASA astronaut. The call was organized by Riley Buchheit, the team’s coach, and it will last for 45 minutes. NASA typically uses Microsoft Team Video for its calls, but the downside of this platform is that it only allows 250 people to participate in a call at once. In an attempt to get more Cannon Falls High School students involved in this once in a lifetime experience, Buchheit decided that he will set up a YouTube Live Feed during the video conference. Throughout the call, students are encouraged to ask the astronaut questions revolving space systems, astronomy, etc.
