Rustic romancing

CFHS prom will be held on May 4.

It is officially prom season at Cannon Falls High School. Prom this year will be hosted on May 4th at the Cannon Falls Winery following the theme “Rustic Romance”. 

Festivities start at 3:30 with group pictures. All students attending prom can gather on the south side of Lake Byllesby to take pictures. Grand March will start at 5 p.m. in the High School auditorium. Participants must arrive between 4 and 4:30. Doors will open at 4:30 for spectators; there will be a $2 admissions fee. 

This year’s prom varies from the previous years, as it is being hosted at a local venue. Students will drive themselves to the Winery. Attendees may start entering the venue at 6 p.m., however they must arrive before 6:30. Additionally, students will be permitted to begin leaving at 10:30. No one will be permitted to re-enter after they leave. Prom will officially end at 11:30.
