Though the Cannon Falls High School SADD program has been dormant for awhile, this year it’s coming back in full swing. SADD was formerly known as an organization of Students Against Driving Drunk but has now changed its name to Students Against Destructive Decisions. This group of young adults believes that in order for teenagers to understand the impact of their poor decisions, they need to be addressed by other teens and one of the most prevalent issues facing today’s youth is drinking and driving. SADD’s biggest concern is traffic safety among teens but they also address substance abuse, mental illness, and bullying.
