Searching for talent
Any student in Cannon Falls Middle or High School is encouraged to take part in the spring play. Everyone in the community is welcome to see the show.
The theater department posted advertisements for auditions all over the school.
The Cannon Falls Spring Play auditions were held on March 14 and the callbacks were on the 15th.
This year’s Spring Play is Peter Pan and Wendy. Anyone in high school or middle school who is interested in participating is invited. Prior experience is not necessary. There are flyers around the school that contain a QR code that leads to a Google Form. The Google Form can also be found on the daily announcements. The Google Form asks for a little information about the person interested in auditioning. No preparation was needed for the audition.
The rehearsals were from 3:15-5:15, Monday through Friday. They will be performing the play on May 11, 13, and the 14th. There are many parts in the play. People can choose to play a female or male role. They can also choose whether they prefer a big part or a small part. If they don’t want to act, they could always work on the tech crew.
