Cannon Falls FFA

The menu and prices have been released for the FFA’s annual Farmer’s Share Breakfast.

The Farmer’s Share Breakfast is a tradition that the Cannon Falls FFA chapter puts on every year. The breakfast takes place at the end of FFA week to help spread agricultural awareness. FFA week takes place to recognize how the agricultural organization and members of the FFA have progressed in agriculture since 1928, when FFA was founded. The Farmers’ Share Breakfast is used for agriculture awareness to show people that not much of the money consumers pay for the goods goes to the farmers, but the majority of the cost comes from the processing, marketing, and distribution of the products.

This year the breakfast will be taking place on Saturday, February 25th at St Ansgar’s church from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Members of the chapter will make and serve all the food. Members also help set up everything in the building for the breakfast. This breakfast is important because people only pay what farmers earn for their products.
