Sports are back in action
Winter sports at Cannon Falls will resume in-person practices on January 4th.
Since winter sports are back in session starting on January 4th, please make sure you are registered.
During the December 21st school board meeting, the major topic of discussion was the possibility of sports starting on January 4th. Student representatives from each winter sport attended and participated in the meeting. They explained to board members how not having sports is affecting them and their team. At the conclusion of the meeting, the school board officially approved the starting of sports on January 4th, 2021. Official schedules for sports are still being finalized. Coaches will reach out to let athletes know their practice schedules. The first competition dates have not yet been determined. Once MSHSL determines competition dates and the guidance for practices, schedules will be released and finalized.
