The Cannon Falls Dance Team soared above expectations for their first AA meet last two weekends ago as they took first place at the Apple Valley Invitational. While no one counted the Bombers out of being a contender in AA this year, the first place finish was certainly a pleasant surprise. “We went into the competition not having any expectations except meeting our individual goals,” says Krystin Anderson, Senior Captain on dance team. “When we heard our name in first place it was complete shock but also pure joy. It was the perfect debut for the new Bomber Dance Team in AA.” The BDT was at Eastview High School in Apple Valley last weekend and placed second, scoring their highest total ever, a strong indication that the Bombers will continue to find success at the AA level.
