The big day is finally here after 21 weeks the top 2 teams are left – the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC and the defending champs representing the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs. The 49ers come into this game off a huge win over the Lions when they were down 24-7 in the first half of the NFC championship game and pulled off a comeback to win the NFC and a 2nd trip to the supper bowl in the past 4 years. The last super bowl they played was in 2019 when they also played the Chiefs. The 49ers were up 20-10 up until the 4th quarter, but the Chiefs scored 21 points in the 4th quarter to win the super bowl in 2020. The Chiefs have been in the super bowl 3 times since 2020 while winning 2 out of 3 with wins against the Eagles last year and 49ers in the 2020 super bowl and then falling to the Bucs in 2021. The Chiefs are coming off an upset against the Ravens in the AFC championship game. The Chiefs have the number 3 ranked defense and the number 10 ranked offense and the 49ers have the number 2 ranked defense and the number 2 ranked offense. It should be the best game of the year with the top 2 teams going head to head for the first time this year.
