The Cannon Falls Softball team has a sponsor this year and nobody will believe who it is. Gatorade is teaming up with the Bombers Softball team to create three new flavors. The flavors are Infield, Outfield, and (limited edition) CF Bombers. These flavors are favorites among many players. Some, such as Danika Smith, have said, “I enjoyed them all, but my favorite one has to be the CF Bombers one.” Another item that the team is helping to develop is seeds.
The Gatorades are all unique and most of the players love them. The flavor Infield tastes like the dirt found on a softball or baseball field. Outfield has a weirdly sweet flavor that one can only describe as grass. Lastly, CF Bombers is flavored as sweat and hard work, or dirt on a glove. Although CF Bombers has many different flavor profiles, these are the most common and the ones that Gatorade seems to say it tastes like. With the Gatorades as liquid fuel, the team also made some seed flavor suggestions.
The seeds include plain, Mac & Cheese, and a unique Opponents flavor. Gatorade makes many other flavors, but these are the most common. Some people question the Opponents flavor because they think it will taste terrible. Although it isn’t horrible, it does taste like sewage water and is often the last choice for many players. Many players have said the Mac & Cheese seeds pair awesome with the CF Bombers or Infield drinks.
The Bombers also got new matching uniforms and cleats while getting to sample and test new flavors. Gatorade also helped to supply the team with new equipment, such as a pitching machine and new bats. The team loves the new equipment and uniforms. The players also loved to help sample and choose the flavors of the new Gatorade and seeds. They hope to continue this partnership with Gatorade in the future.
