It’s that time of year again; Thanksgiving break has finally arrived for students at Cannon Falls High School. Starting on Wednesday to Friday, school will be closed so students can celebrate the autumn holiday. From feasting on homemade goods to attending Deck of Falls, everyone will most certainly be busy. The community will be commemorating Thanksgiving on Thursday, shopping till they drop on Black Friday, and attending the Deck of Falls, hosted by Cannon Falls Chamber of Commerce, on Saturday.
Plenty of activities are planned for students to stay engaged with their school. School clubs plan to participate in plenty of activities or volunteer. For example, one of the clubs, Student Council, will be attending the Deck of Falls parade. Sports will also have practice and games over the weekend—Boys Basketball will be competing against La Crescent High School in their town on Saturday. Dance and Wrestling will be practicing as well over break. Despite a break from school, many students will still be busy. Whether it’s with friends or family, everyone will have something to do.
