Outside, it’s evident that Christmas will soon be in our midst. Gleaming icicles drop down from every rooftop; beautiful, colorful, and bright lights hang, gilding the streets with a sense of hope and excitement. But as pretty as they are, that’s not where the town could be found last Friday night. Snuggled up with the warmth of indoors and Christmas music, a crowd gathered at the Cannon Falls Winery for a spectacular show filled with astonishing young singers. A group performance by Britta Lundgren, Alana Robinson, Aria Tennesen, Carson Chytracek, Tyler Chytracek, Allie Daniels, and Melissa Franz truly showed that hard work and dedication will truly pay off no matter how young you are. Solos were also performed by Lauren Lecy, Josh Geiken, Kylie Robinson, Jon Lampman, and Matthew Lockett. That performance proved that truly impressive talent lies within the tiny town of Cannon Falls.The event was directed by Sue Franke, whose talented skills play a very element in the success of the Cannon Falls music program. Tied all together Cannon Falls, got a Christmas present way bigger then what can nestle under the tree.
