A middle school drama student talks about performing in a high school production

Drama, drama, drama, to be dramatic everyday for months is pretty fun! To be in plays it takes time, skill, and commitment. If anyone is interested in joining, there are announcements so students can know when the next play is coming up, or be on the lookout for any posters/announcements. When first joining the acting department it can be pretty nerve-wracking. Once he/she gets into the flow, it turns into a lot of fun and a boat-load of laughs. “I started in sixth grade, and it has helped me with social skills and speech,” said cast member Vienna Qualey. Actors and the director put in a lot of time and energy to make the performance as great as it is and get the most out of a customer’s money. The actors have to put on makeup before each of the performances.  They have a bunch of fun and throw a whole-cast party after the first performance. Everyone involved gets invited to a spaghetti dinner on the first night of the show. The cast  meet up every day after school till 5:30.The actors of CFHS pull off amazing feats with constricted budgets and time, for a great example Annie was one of Cannon Falls’ best high school musicals.
