With the leaves just beginning to turn, and the beautiful fall weather, this year’s Bomber Blast 5k had the perfect set up. On Sunday, October 5th the CFHS junior class was running (literally) the third annual 5k event as a fundraiser for their class. About 130 people, from infants to adults, joined the fun. Male and Female winners were named for adults and students. The youth winners were Riley Eddy, clocking in at 23 minutes, and Bella Davisson was not far behind with a time of 28 minutes. The adult victors were Jerry Serres at 23 minutes, and Jordan Blakeslee with 27 minutes. Door prizes were also awarded to a number of lucky participants. All proceeds are going towards creating a stunning prom and a memorable graduation ceremony. October 5th was beautiful fall day for Cannon Falls to come together as a community and support the class of 2016.
