Diabetes, turkeys and facial hair

After voting for the levy Referendum concluded, it was time to give the Cannon Falls “Spirit Rock” a new face. “The council throws out ideas, and we vote on what would be best.” Says Bethany Nelson, a Junior in student council. “As for who paints it, we take volunteers if anyone wants to help, but normally it’s myself or the Council President, Katie Noble.” So now the rock boasts a Turkey and a diabetes ribbon on one side, in honor of Thanksgiving and Diabetes awareness month, and a beard and mustache on the other since Cannon Falls is having a “No Shave November” contest. So eat some Turkey, help spread awareness of diabetes, stash the shaving razors in the cabinet, and sign up for the Cannon Falls High School No Shave November contest!
