National Honor Society inductees honored in ceremony
On Wednesday, November 18th at 7 pm, the 2015 annual National Honor Society induction ceremony will take place in the Cannon Falls high school auditorium. NHS is a national organization in high schools that helps to acknowledge students of excellence. There will be 12 Seniors and also 13 juniors participating in the ceremony. Each student will be introduced as NHS members, then they will receive a certificate of membership into the national organization and the Minnesota chapter. “It is an honor to be selected into NHS at Cannon Falls High School. It shows that you are of strong character, have leadership skills, uphold high standards of academic excellence, and that you are well-rounded,” says Deb Klegin, co adviser of NHS with Mrs. Hoffman. At the ceremony, topics of scholarship, leadership, character, and service will be discussed. Mrs. Winget and Mr. Vandehoef will be the keynote speakers of the exciting night, so come and cheer on your fellow juniors and seniors as they are being recognized for their achievements in academics and society.
