Senior, Derek Ramler, spikes the ball

Mr. Junker goes spikes the ball in a return against the seniors

For the Homecoming Powerpuff volleyball game the seniors won as always, however all the other grades will tell you otherwise. The line judges and ref were all seniors, which raises some people’s suspicions as to the authenticity of the calls. Some of which made the audience think there was a little (a lot) of bias towards the seniors. The first game was seniors against juniors with no definite winner. The juniors say the juniors won, but the seniors say the seniors won. The juniors put up a good fight, but they were no match for the possibly biased reffing done by seniors.

The other match was the seniors against the staff. Although the staff had all the former experience of competing in the Powerpuff games over the years, they still lost to the seniors. This may be the result of the calls, or the staff taking it easy on the senior’s egos. Somewhere within the game everyone lost count, so they assumed the seniors were winning without knowing for sure. After the game seemed to have gone on for long enough, it seemed like the players just called it quits without a final score. Even though there was some major cheating among the seniors, it was enjoyable for the participants and the rest of the Cannon Falls students.
