Canadians infiltrate maple trees in Cannon Falls
Becca Benson
2 Canadian spies were found in the Cannon Falls school district looking for more maple syrup. Detectives first started getting suspicious when they saw taps in every single maple tree. They quickly found the suspects because the taps said “Property of Canadian spies”. The Canadian spies apparently stole maple syrup because the reservoirs are completely dry in Canada. This happened because the Toronto Maple Leafs are 0-76-1 this year. To make it worse, their tie was against a high school team. So, predictably all the Canadians are drowning their sorrow in maple syrup. The spies were twins, Felix and Florence Smith, both posing as Juniors. The trial was pretty slow because that’s how they like their maple syrup to drip. But, in the end they confessed to stealing 77 hundred gallons of Minnesota maple syrup. Florence said,” Eh, we were desperate, don’t cha know.” The twins are getting deported back to Canada in a week. With many Minnesotans feeling sorry for the twins and all of Canada, they are raising maple syrup for all of Canada.
